Anthony - Lead Singer

We chose Anthony to be the lead singer in our band because he fits the Indie look very well. His appearance and clothing fitted well with the genre and meant we didn't need to change any part of his look. He is also confident infront of the camera so we didn't have to worry about him being nervous when acting and singing. Another reason is, Anthony is young so is also part of the target audience, he will also be found attractive by the target audience and this will make them more interested in the video.

Alice - Keyboard Player

We chose Alice to be keyboardist in our band, we thought having a female band member would help to broaden the audiences that would watch our video. Like Anthony she has a very Indie look so we didn't have to change her appearance to fit with the genre. Another reason is that she would be found appealing to the male target audience for this genre. Also girls would find seeing a female in the band very reassuring if this is something they might want to do but feel they cant.

Permission For Filming

When deciding what dates to film and when would wok best for everyone we had to discuss with our teacher to get a day out of school, as this would give us the best opportunity to get all the filming done. As our location was outside of school and we would need a whole day off we had to email our media teacher so she could check with the school and the teachers of the lessons we would be missing. These emails below show us gaining the permission we need to get the day for filming:

We are unable to show the replies from our teacher as she spoke to the other teachers that needed to know and then spoke to us in class to make sure it was all arranged and we knew what was going on.
